The London Transport Museum has announced that it is going to be opening later in the evenings every Thursday in September and October.
The Museum will close at 6pm and reopen between 6:30pm and 9pm for this special ticketed evening opening just for adults to meet up with friends.
This is an opportunity to explore the Museum’s galleries and exhibitions during a quieter time without the crowds with a complimentary drink in hand. As well as being open later to visit the museum, there will be a pub-style quiz each week.
Tickets for these late-night evening openings are £15, including a first drink at the canteen restaurant.
Tickets can be booked here.
After Dark sessions are for over 18s only. Last admission at 8pm.
Museum reopening
In other news – the museum has also confirmed that it reopens to the public on 7th September, and as with most venues, you will need to book a ticket in advance to visit.
